Illegal TPS in Green Line Zone Complained by Residents

Kalideres Urban Village, West Jakarta residents begin to complain of illegal temporary disposal site (TPS) that appears on the green line zone in that region. The existence of illegal TPS is approximately 50 meters long with one meter garbage pileup high that produce bad smell, especially during rainy season, the stench is more pungent. Meanwhile, Jakarta Vice Dept. of City Cleanliness, Isnawa Adji, claimed that he did not know if there is a green line zone that has been made an illegal TPS . "As far as I know, there are two hydraulic garbage bins to accommodate the residents’ garbages at that location," said Isnawa.
Isnawa promised if there is a green line becoming illegal TPS, he will coordinate with West Jakarta Cleanliness Sub-Department to handle it immediately. "That should not be happened, especially the green line zone should be sterile until it looks beautiful and shady. Therefore I will immediately instruct the West Jakarta Sub-Dept. to check and if it is true, they need to clean it up," he promised.
