City Facilitates Charity Fundraising for Natural Disaster Victims

Jakarta Provincial Government facilitates fundraising for natural disaster victims in Kuningan District, West Java.

I hope collected donation can be managed and utilized well

This fundraising was proposed by Kuningan people who live in Jakarta. It was held in City Hall, Jl. Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta. The result, Rp 600 billion was collected for this charity.

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan mentioned, this activity was initiated by Paguyuban Siwindu.

"I hope collected donation can be managed and utilized well," he conveyed, Tuesday (3/13) night.

Paguyuban Siwindu Leader, Tatang Khaedar expressed his gratitude to Jakarta Provincial Government that has facilitated this charity act.

"Jakarta Government shows its empathy and care for natural disaster victims in Kuningan. Thank you," he said.

Meanwhile, Kuningan District's Disaster Handling Agency (BPBD) Head, Agus Mauludin added, currently there are still many landslide victims who live in the shelter.

"We will use this aid as good as we can," he stated.
