E. Jakarta PMI Managed to Collect Monthly Fund by Rp 4.7 B

East Jakarta residents' awareness to donate money to support the humanitarian activity is deemed high. Evidently, the East Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) managed to collect Rp 4.7 billion by selling PMI coupons throughout 2014.

The PMI coupon that has been distributed in each area is reaching Rp 5.9 billion. Until January 5, the funds that been remitted to DKI Bank reached Rp 4.7 billion,

"The PMI coupon that has been distributed in each area is reaching Rp 5.9 billion. Until January 5, the funds that been remitted to DKI Bank reached Rp 4.7 billion," said Chairman of East Jakarta PMI, Kusnoto, Wednesday (1/7).

Kusnoto predicts the PMI fund absorption will keep increasing because there are funds that have been collected yet it is not yet remitted by the execution units.

Jakarta PMI Needs 5 More Blood Transfusion Units

"There are some units have yet to remit the funds and I hope they could do it in the last monitoring on January 15," he hoped.

Such high fund absorption is getting an appreciated from East Jakarta Deputy Mayor, Hussein Murad. He hopes the fund absorption last year can achieve the target.

"The fund has reached 73 percent so far, and is hoped able to achieve our target. By so, East Jakarta PMI will grab a title as the most fundraisers," stated Kusnoto when he led the fund-month monitoring of the PMI implementation, in a room of East Jakarta Mayor Office.
