Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, witnessed the continued match of the 2018 AFC Group H Champions between Persija Jakarta against the Vietnamese soccer club, Song Lam Nghe An at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK).

He took his son, Ismail Hakim while wearing a jersey of pride teams nicknamed Macan Kemayoran. Both were seen enthusiastic watching the match.

Persija continued to give an attack and could finally give a score in minute 92 through hard kick from Addison Alves.

Along with thousands of The Jakmania supporters, they dissolved in euphoria celebrating the goal with score 1-0 for Persija victory until the whistle sounded.

"We're so excited whereby Persija mastered the field during the match. Alhamdulillah (thank God), at extra time, Addison was able to give score," exclaimed Anies, Wednesday (3/14) night.

He assessed, tonight, Persija made Jakartans proud. Hopefully, they could maintain this positive results in the next match.

"They make us all feel that Jakarta has a club to be proud of by bringing Indonesia's good name," he told.

With this victory, they managed to achieve seven points. This result make them topped the standings in Group H.
