Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan wants to ensure all multi story buildings owners to obey City regulation about waste water management, infiltration well, and groundwater usage.

Anies said, Integrated Monitoring Team for Infiltration Well and Water Treatment Plant Provision and Groundwater Usage in Multi Story Buildings and Settlements has been formed based on Governor's Decree (Kepgub) No. 279/2018. This team should be able to do its duties well.
"Today is the fifth day of our monitoring on the field. This is very important for Jakarta future thus its environment management becomes better," he mentioned in his speech as instructor in integrated monitoring team assembly which is held in one of multi story buildings on Jl. Jenderal Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Friday (3/16).
Council Supports Groundwater Usage Raid in Multi Story BuildingsAccording to him, this monitoring is very useful to build public awareness, especially building owners and managements thus they become more concern about their environment.
"If we do it massively to all buildings in Jakarta, thus environment management in Jakarta would be much better," he explained.
He conveyed, firstly integrated monitoring team will observe 80 multi story buildings along Jl. MH. Thamrin and Jl. Sudirman.
"I remind them to do their job professionally, full of responsibility, and do it on time," he affirmed.
For information, this assembly also participated by heads of SKPDs such as Satpol PP Head, Yani Wahyu Purwoko; Transportation Dept. Head, Andri Yansyah; and Land Spatial Planning and Build Work (CKTRP) Dept. Head, Benny Agus Chandra.
