Anies Inspects Utilization of Groundwater in Multi-Storey Building

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan conducted a sudden inspection (sidak) towards utilization of groundwater, supply of absorption wells, and wastewater treatment plants (IPA) in one of the multi-storey buildings, Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

Anies stated it was done to follow up the Gubernatorial Decree No. 279/2018 on the Integrated Supervision Team for Supply of Wells and Wastewater Treatment Plant and Groundwater Utilization in Multi-Storey Building and Housing that was applied on February 6.
"We want to make sure the owners and managers of the building obey the rules," he expressed, Monday (3/12).
IPAL will Be Built in Harapan MuliaHe explained the team consists of SKPD and related units such as Cipta Karya, Spatial Planning and Land Dept.; Environment Dept.; Satpol PP; Water Resources Dept.; and Soil Conservation Center.
"Today the team is in charge of collecting data related to the use of drinking water, wastewater treatment and completeness of the documents," he told.
Anies added five teams consisting of 10 members will work in marathon to conduct the examination.
"80 buildings will be examined up to March 21, 2018," he said.
