Seribu Islands to Involve Pertamina for Realization of SPBUT

Seribu Islands District Administration is going to conduct a study of the need for subsidized fuel (BBM) in the region. It is the initial step of the cooperation plan with PT Pertamina for constructing a public transportable refueling station (SPBUT).

Assistant for Seribu Islands Economy and Development, Iwan Pangihutan Samosir said his party had conducted a coordination meeting. SPBUT can be realized if the fuel demand reaches 30,000 liters per day.

"So we will do the study first, if the fuel demand hits 30,000 liters per day, Pertamina can enter. Because there are economic calculations such as transportation costs, evaporation, etc," he stated, Tuesday (3/20).

Further, his party prepared some facilities like his region. It is expected that every sub-district has one SPBUT. He wants SPBUT to be realized this year.

"They will tell the boss first, after that will invite us. Hopefully we can realize it this year," he said.
