PD PAM Jaya Kicks Off Run for Water

Commemorating the International Water Day, PD PAM Jaya along with PT Palyja, PT Aetra and PT Transjakarta is holding the activity of Run for Water in Car Free Day, Jalan MH Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Sunday (3/25).
Herein we hope that people will no longer use ground water too much
It is participated by 225 participants from various professions.
PD PAM Jaya President Director, Erlan Hidayat stated, the International Water Day takes theme, 'Solution of Nature-Based Water'. It is aimed to invite the people to be more concerned in preserving the environment.
City Committed to Maintain Clean Water Supply"Herein we hope that people will no longer use ground water too much and together to take responsibility for protecting water resources especially in Jakarta," he expressed, Sunday (3/25).
He explained, there is also education about waste utilization by Ciliwung Bersih Movement. The entire International Water Day commemoration is a form of real support from PAM Jaya with its partners to the Jakarta Provincial Government to increase public awareness of water.
Previously his side had socialized the use of piped water 'Let Stop using Ground Water' at the residence of Jakarta Deputy Governor on Wednesday (3/21) and the program of 'Greening My Flat Tower' in the Waduk Pluit Muara Baru Flat Tower and Marunda Flat Tower on Thursday (3/22).
"Its peak is at Run for Water today," he stated.
