Jakarta Health Dept. along with Jakarta Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) will examine the quality of food prepared for Asian Games athletes in the upcoming August.

"The food quality control mechanism will be done by Health Dept. and BPOM," expressed Leane Suniar, Director of Health and Supervision for Doping Inasgoc, Monday (3/26).
Asian Games Banners Spread to 44 Sub-districtsBoth will detect harmful substances or improper consumption in the food of the Asian Games athletes through a tool.
"By so we will know whether the food is contained substances or not," he explained.
Suniar assessed, there will be hundreds of officers who are deployed for food athletes. They consist of medical personnel, food specialists and medical specialists.
They must attend the training programmed by the Inasgoc and Health Ministry for three days.
"They must also participate thus the cohesiveness of the team during Asian Games can be formed well," he uttered.
