Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan attended the inauguration of Samsat Digital and Cashless Payment through DKI Bank at Polda Metro Jaya Headquarter, Jl Jenderal Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta.

He mentioned, this policy is a breakthrough in facilitating people to fulfill their obligations related to vehicle.

"We hope this innovation can be a good example for other regions," he expressed, Monday (3/26).

He explained, realization for vehicle tax (PKB) 2017 in Jakarta is Rp 8 trillion which is surpass the target Rp 7.7 trillion. Its vehicle-ownership transfer fees (BBNKB) also reaches Rp 5.03 trillion from target Rp 5 trillion.

"We believe tax target realization in 2018 can be higher through Samsat Digital service," he explained.

According to him, there are 7.1 million two-wheeled vehicles and 2.4 million four-wheeled vehicles in Jakarta. Thus his side hopes to develop the existed innovations.

"Especially, I want to express my gratitude to Kapolda and Dirlantas that have create this breakthrough together with DKI Bank.
