BPRD Optimistic This Year's Local Tax will Hit Surplus

City Local Tax and Retribution Agency (BPRD) optimistic that this year's local tax revenue could hit surplus or exceed the usual results. According to the latest data, it has realized at 99.21 percent from target by Rp 35.35 trillion.

I believe it will hit Rp 200 billion by the end of this month,

Jakarta BPRD Head, Edi Sumantri believes it will hit surplus up to Rp 200 billion. Considering, there is still time up to the end of this month.

BPRD Targets PAD Worth Rp 50 T Next Year

"I believe it will hit Rp 200 billion by the end of this month," be expresed, at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (12/18).

He explained several tax revenues have already hit the target. Those taxes are hotel, restaurant, BPHTB, cigarette, and billboard.

"Which is why we're optimistic able to hit surplus," he stressed.

He details tax realization for PKB reached Rp 7.69 trillion from target by Rp 7.75 trillion, BBNKB Rp 4.83 trillion from target by Rp 5 trillion, PPBKP Rp 1.07 trillion from target by Rp 1.15 trillion.

There are also hotel with Rp 1.555 trillion from target by Rp 1.55 trillion, restaurant Rp 2.73 trillion from target by Rp 2.70 trillion, billboard Rp 915 billion from target by Rp 900 billion.

Furthermore, there are streetlight with Rp 687 billion from target by Rp 750 billion, parking Rp 483 billion from target by 500 billion, BPHTB Rp 6.14 trillion from target by Rp 5.57 trillion, cigarette Rp 582 billion from target by Rp 580 billion.

Edi added there are three types of taxes far from the target. They are entertainment tax with Rp 751 billion from target by Rp 800 billion, Land Use Utilization (PAT) Rp 90.8 billion from target by Rp 100 billion.

"And the third is PPB-P2 with Rp 7.5 trillion from target by Rp 8 trillion," he uttered.
