January-March Periods, 1,610 Animals Vaccinated

During January-March 2018 periods, North Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. has vaccinated 1,610 residents' animals that can transmit rabies (HPR).

Currently we have realized 42.93 percent from our target 3,750 animals

North Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Rita Nirmala said, vaccination is done to anticipate rabies transmission in North Jakarta.

"We vaccinate animals such as monkeys, dogs, cats. Currently we have realized 42.93 percent from our target 3,750 animals," she said, Thursday (4/5).

From total 1,610 vaccinated animals, there are 577 dogs, 1,019 cats, seven monkeys, and seven other animals.

"We will continue to vaccine residents' HPR until December," she affirmed.
