Animal Spread Rabies Vaccination in N. Jakarta Has Hit 94 Percent

Since January-October, as many as 3,480 animals spread rabies in North Jakarta have been vaccinated. It is predicted the vaccination this time could exceed the target, which reaches 3,500 animals.

Until now there have been 3,480 animals spread rabies vaccinated or 94 percent

North Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Sub-dept. Head, Rita Nirmala said the number is increasing than last year, which reached 2,500 animals.

"Until now there have been 3,480 animals spread rabies vaccinated or 94 percent. Yet we sure, the vaccination is always limited at 100 percent," she stated, Monday (10/9).

He added, the vaccination would continue to be done in an effort to minimize rabies circulation. Moreover, Jakarta has been free of rabies, and its predicate will continue to be maintained.
