Open traffic on Matraman-Salemba Underpass starts today, on Tuesday (4/10). Open traffic will be conducted until seven days ahead.

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept.'s Intersection and Elevated Road Division Head, Heru Suwondo said, this underpass has 670.1 meters long and 7 meters wide with a good drainage system to prevent inundation while raining.
Open traffic is done after pump room's wall in underpass is completed and it also needs to be coordinated with Jakarta Transportation and Police first.

He explained, Matraman-Salemba Underpass is built to suppress vehicle density in Matraman intersection and reduce road intersection.
"We hope until seven days ahead, this traffic engineering can solve traffic problems optimally," he conveyed.
