Traffic Engineering Prepared During Mampang-Kuningan Underpass Trial Today

Jakarta Provincial Government is about to conduct Mampang-Kuningan Underpass trial, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/11).
Hopefully it can control the riders to obey the traffic rules in the field for the sake of the safety
"We've prepared traffic engineering to support the trial today," expressed Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Wednesday (4/11).
It was applied to traffic flow at Simpang Mampang-Kuningan whereby vehicles coming from Menteng will be rerouted to turn left to Pancoran-turn right to Semanggi-turn right to Semanggi-Mampang or can use underpass to exit in the middle of street off-ramp. Vehicles coming from Ragunan can use the underpass.
Today, Matraman Underpass TestedFrom Mampang and Ragunan, vehicles will be rerouted to turn left to Semanggi-turn right to Pancoran-Setiabudi or Menteng-Mampang-turn back to Underpass.
Then from Pancoran or Cawang, vehicles will be rerouted to Mampang-turn right to Menteng or Setiabudi-Semanggi or Setiabudi-Semanggi through flyover, except the bus (Transjakarta).
From Simpang Mampang-Tendean, vehicles will be directed to the south towards Mentebg-turn left to Blok M-turn back to Warung Buncit-Setiabudi or Menteng via underpass.
From Pancoran or Cawang, vehicles must use the underpass-exit from the middle street off ramp-turn back to Pancoran-underpass and exit from the middle street off ramp-turn back to Jalan Tendean or turn right to Simpang Mampang-Kuningan.
From the north or Kuningan, vehicles must turn left to Pancoran or Cawang-turn right to Blok M-Warung Buncit/Ragunan.
From the west or Jalan Tendean Blok M, vehicles must turn left to Semanggi or Menteng-turn right to Warung Buncit or Ragunan. While from Pancoran or Cawang, they can use the flyover.
From the east or Jalan Tendean Trans 7, vehicles will be directed to Warung Buncit or Ragunan-Blok M-Flyover towards Semanggi or Menteng-turn back to the flyover to Semanggi-turn right tp Setiabudi or Menteng.
Andri added the Mampang-Kuningan Underpass as long as 850 meters was made to accommodate traffic from the north (Menteng) towards the south (Ragunan).
