Sandi Wants Komedi Jakarta to Perform in Tourism Sites

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno wants Komedi Jakarta can be performed in City tourism sites such as Monas, Kota Tua, Setu Babakan, and Ancol.

I see that Komedi Jakarta is one of local wisdom which is entertaining

"I see that Komedi Jakarta is one of local wisdom which is entertaining," he expressed, after closing Jakarta Komedi Expo 2018 at Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM), Central Jakarta, Tuesday (4/10) night.

He also gives a chance for Jakarta comedians to perform in Jakarta Fair 2018 thus they can entertain people while preserving Betaw i culture.

Sandi Wants Creative Economy and Culture in DKI to Be Developed

"We want Betawi culture to create harmony without anyone being offended with comedy. It also can open job opportunities for creative economy in tourism sites. We will give comedian in Jakarta a chance to perform," he stated.

 

Jakarta Komedi Expo is held by Persatuan Seniman Komedi Indonesia (PaSKI).

Jakarta PaSKI Head, Jarwo Kwat said, this event will be held routinely every year to preserve Betawi culture.

"This event held since yesterday. We are grateful that Mr. Wagub is willing to close this event," he conveyed.
