Two Entertainment Venues in Central Jakarta & North Jakarta Closed Down

We all have the responsibility to enforce the bylaw

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno led a ceremony and released 60 Satpol PP personnel and 10 civil servant investigators (PPNS) to close down two entertainment venues in Central Jakarta and North Jakarta areas that break the rules for being a place of drug transaction.

Council Supports Firm Action Against Illegal Entertainment Venues

"We all have the responsibility to enforce the bylaw. This mandate must be done as well as possible. We also have to show the closure is done in a good way, honorable and dignified," he stated, when led the ceremony on the yard of City Hall, Thursday (4/19).

Initially, Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service (DPM and PTSP) had revoked two entertainment venues' tourism business certification (TDUP). This case was also reported to Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan.

"Our officer is sent to put stickers and banners to close down business activities, including ensuring that there are no more business activities in both locations," he stated.
