Tebet Station Area will Be Made as Orderly Traffic Area

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. along with the police and Satpol PP are conducting a raid against app-based ojek (motorcycle taxi) drivers in Tebet Station area.

We'll do this gradually by making a stop zone 

It is done, as the land in front of it will be transformed into an orderly traffic area.

South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. Head, Christianto stated it would be conducted gradually. Currently the place looks slum, it is used as illegal parking and motorcycle taxi pool to pick up and drop off passenger haphazardly.

"We'll do this gradually by making a stop zone for public minivan, bajai, non-online motorcycle taxi and online motorcycle taxi to be more orderly," he expressed, Thursday (4/19).

His side will also add 15 concrete barriers that aim to block motorcycle taxis that conduct contra flow. Aside that, the road markings as a marker will be added.

"Tebet area must be arranged and will made as orderly traffic area. We will place officers to manage traffic flow there," he exclaimed.
