150 participants from academicians, college students, and local residents attended on hydroponic training and workshop which was held by Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. yesterday at Bung Karno University (UBK).
It proves that urban farming is renowned between the students
Central Jakarta KPKP Sub-dept. Head, Bayu Sari Hastuti mentioned, in this workshop her side wants to educate people how to utilize existing land for urban farming with hydroponic system.

In this workshop she invited competent sources in their field. Such as Hendra Kurnia, the Ambassador of Jakarta Urban Farming and representative from Indonesian Terawulan.
In that chance, workshop participants also invited to sign memorandum of understanding with Jakarta KPKP Dept. and related sides to make green village in their own areas.
"To support it, we give 300 herbal plant seeds thus they can plant it in their environment," she conveyed.
