60 Green Alley administrators in South Jakarta participated in urban farming training. This event was held to create new entrepreneurs through OK OCE program.
This is done to increase their knowledge about urban farming
South Jakarta Assistant in Economy and Development, Sri Yuliani said this event is a part of new entrepreneur socialization for urban farming administrators. Thus in the future, urban farming products will not only be consumed by local residents but it can also be sold.
"We hold training again thus Green Alley administrators become more developed," she stated at Ragunan Agricultural Training Hall (BPP), Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Wednesday (4/18).
City Asked to Support People Participating in Urban FarmingFrom this training, she hopes residents can be better in utilizing limited land. Besides using resident's yard, they can also use various growing media for various crops.
Meanwhile, South Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Sub-dept. Head, Wachyuni informed, this training was participated by 60 people from 10 sub-districts where each sub-district sent
six Green Alley administrators."This is done to increase their knowledge about urban farming. Thus later Green Alley can be used to increase residents revenue," she mentioned.
