S. Jakarta SKPD-UKPD Asked to Increase Budget Absorption

South Jakarta Mayor Tri Kurniadi asks the regional working unit (SKPD/UKPD) to increase the budget absorption.

Considering, until now, total absorption of SKPD/UKPD budget in his region only reached 25 percent.

Every month, his party stated its absorption could be in accordance with what has been targeted. Thus far there are still some SKPD/UKPD that its budget absorption is below target.

SKPD's Budget Absorption must Be Optimal

"When determining the target, its ability must also be seen. Next month there should be a change," he expressed, during Rakorwil, Wednesday (4/25).

Until now there are some SKPD that still have low budget absorption. They are like Public Housing and Settlement Sub-dept., Bina Marga Sub-dept., Industry and Energy Sub-dept., Manpower and Transmigration Sub-dept., as well as Tourism and Culture Sub-dept.

He also appeals them to soon report expired activities. Thus the budget can be stopped in accordance with the procedures.

"But the cause should be seen first. Certainly don't delete the public proposal," he stressed.

South Jakarta KUKMP Sub-dept. Head, Shita Damayanti explained, this month, the budget absorption in its ranks could be on target. Because there are some jobs that are still in the billing process.

"Physically this is already on target, and this month enters payment process," he stated.
