May Day Commemoration in N. Jakarta Runs Conducive

May Day commemoration in two locations of North Jakarta, Tuesday (5/1) run conducive from morning until afternoon.

Generally it runs conducive and no incidents happened

North Jakarta Vice Mayor said, May Day commemoration which was held at Rawa Badak Sport Building (GOR) and Tanjung Priok Port has gone well.

"Some of them departed from KBN and Tanjung Priok Port to State Palace. Generally it run conducive and no incidents happened," he mentioned, Tuesday (5/1).

He said, local government relation with industrial sectors in North Jakarta is relatively good. North Jakarta Government always tries to facilitate and mediate when problem occur s between labor and company.

"We expect labors to maintain public orders," he affirmed.

North Jakarta Human Resources and Transmigration (Nakertrans) Sub-dept. Head, Dwi Untoro explained, May Day was held by two sides in two different locations. First was held by Tripartit industrial relations at Rawa Badak GOR and second was held by port trade union together with related stakeholders in port.

"We will continue to monitor their activities and ensure it runs conducive," he conveyed.
