According to Satriadi Gunawan, Head of North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-dept., his sub-dept. got information about the workers buried in the excavation channel, Tuesday (5/1), at around 5.15 PM.

"When he worked in the channel, the wall suddenly landslides and heaps the victim," he stated, Wednesday (5/2).
He stated that five rescue teams were immediately deployed to evacuate the victim, Tarno (41), a citizen of Sukareja Village, RT 01/03, Sukareja Bajarharjo Sub-district, Brebes District, Central Java.
"The victim was evacuated at 5.15 AM. Unfortunately the victim was lifeless when found and immediately taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM)," he stated.
