Five People Died in Suicide Bomb Attack in Kampung Melayu

The police finally announced an official data of the suicide bomb victims last night in Kampung Melayu Terminal bus stop, Jatinegara, East Jakarta, Wednesday (5/24). They mentioned, five people are killed and 11 others suffer injuries.

Five killed victims are identified as three police members and two others are the suspected suicide bombers.

National Police Chief, Sr. Comr. Martinus Sitompul said those bombers' body condition is not whole anymore. Allegedly, they blast themselves using low explosive bombs.

"They're allegedly ISIS. They want to show the existence that they are still exist," he expressed, Thursday (5/25).

Currently the police are still investigating the identity of them, that is by matching the fingerprint with the data owned.

Aside that, the police already have CCTV recordings around the scene from Jakarta Transportation Dept.

As quoted by Beritajakarta.id, there are five dead victims, namely Sec. Brig. (Anumerta) Taufan, Sec. Brig. Ridho Setiawan and Sec. Brig. Imam Gilang Adinata. While the suspected suicide bombers are still being investigated.

Then for 11 injured victims are still under intensive treatment in Premier Jatinegara Hospital, Budhi Asih RSUD, Polri Kramat Jati Hospital and Hermina Jatinegara Hospital.
