Vehicle Test Online Booking System in Cilincing will Operate in July

Online booking system for vehicle testing in Cilincing has been tested since April. This system is targeted to operate in July.

Cilincing Vehicle Testing Management Unit (UP PKB) Head, Bernard Oktavianus Pasaribu said, his side will evaluate this system after three months trial.

"We will see its implementation for these three months. After that, we will evaluate and complete the system. We target it to start operating effectively in July," he informed, Thursday (5/3).

After online booking system is applied, he mentioned, checking quota is decreased. Usually, his side conducts testing for around 300-350 vehicles but currently it is around 110-139 vehicles per day.

Through online booking system, now his side only needs 10-15 minutes to conduct technical inspection until vehicle document processing.

"This is done to optimize our services so that people can check their vehicles without a long wait," he stated.
