Council Wants Disabled Athletes Needs to Be Fulfilled

City Council wants Jakarta Provincial Government to have synergy with Indonesia National Sport Committee (KONI) in order to fulfill disabled athletes' needs.

"I want Jakarta Government to synergize with Jakarta KONI to fully support them in various ways," mentioned Mohammad Taufik, Deputy Head of City Council, Thursday (5/3).

City Supports Sepak Takraw's Athletes Coaching

He also wants all athletes coached by Social Dept.'s social houses to be trained optimally thus they can do their best to get achievements in other international competitions.

"I hope we can help them to do their best in achieving international awards. They must be more discipline in training," he added.

For information, Jakarta Social Dept. prepared four disabled athletes to compete in international sport competition.

Those athletes are Subhan and Ellih who are ready to participate in Asian Paragames in Solo, Central Java this October.

Then, Priyo and Catur who will participate in Asian Para Tenpin Bowling 2018 held in Philippine this month.
