PPAPP Sub-dept. Appreciates Sunter Urban Village's Fastra Festival

North Jakarta Empowerment Child Protection and Population Control (PPAPP) Sub-dept. appreciates Sunter Agung Residents Participation and Aspiration Forum (Fastra) Festival 2018 which is held in three RPTRAs in Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok.

"I hope the event can be also developed in other 31 urban villages

This festival holds various competitions such as futsal, karaoke, choir, coloring competition for PAUD (preschool) level, and PKK cadre. 1,300 residents from 20 RWs of Sunter Agung Urban Village are participated in this event.

North Jakarta PPAPP Sub-dept. Head, Hendry Novtrizal said, this event which is held by collaboration between government, residents and stakeholders is hoped could be a role model for other urban villages in North Jakarta.

"I hope it can be also developed in other 31 urban villages. We will try to cooperate with residents thus similar event can be held," he said, Sunday (5/6) night.

He explained, from April 21 to May 6, these series of events are held as the realization of collaboration according to Jakarta Governor wish. This kind of community participation is considered able to realize Jakarta as a developed city with happy citizen.

Sunter Agung Urban Village Head, Andi Dirham explained, competition is held in Sunter Muara RPTRA at RW 05, Kamping Indah Lestari RPTRA at RW 07, and Sunter Utara Indah III RPTRA at RW 08-09. While its committee is formed from several community institutions with purpose to deepen relationship and harmony between residents of Sunter Agung Urban Village.

"Hopefully the event makes residents become harmonious," he added.
