City Ensures Available Basic Food Supplies

Jakarta Provincial Government ensures basic food supplies, such as rice, meat, egg, chili, onion, wheat, and others are safe for Ramadan and Eid.

Jakarta Government ensures basic food supplies are available from Ramadan until Eid

Jakarta Economy Bureau Head, Sri Haryati informed, her side has coordinated with Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept., Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept., Regional Inflation Control Team, including central government to maintain basic food supplies.

"We coordinate with related SKP/UKPD and Inflation Monitoring Team thus all basic food needs can be fulfilled for Ramadan and Eid," he conveyed, Tuesday (5/8).

City will Secure Staple Food Distribution Channel During Ramadan

He added, related BUMDs have also prepared the necessary things according to their sectors, including Trade Ministry and Bulog that have checked food supply in Kramat Jati Central Market. The result is all basic food are available and in a sufficient stock.

He mentioned, her side has anticipated rise in staple food price by holding cheap markets for Jakartans.

"Jakarta Government ensures basic food supplies are available from Ramadan until Eid," she affirmed.
