S. Jakarta Industry Sub-dept. to Give Training Against 1,600 IKMs

South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. is targeting to provide training towards 1,600 actors of small and medium industries (IKMs) this year. 

1,600 IKMs are targeted to participate

Suryanto, Head of South Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept. said training would be slated in the upcoming September. It is also held to support OK OCE program.

"1,600 IKMs are targeted to participate. Thus far it is still under preparation," he expressed, Friday (5/18).

UKM-IKM Products must Be Marketed During Asian Games

His side has asked each sub-district to invite 160 IKMs thus training can be distributed evenly in all sub-districts in South Jakarta.

"Totally there will be 10 sub-districts. So all will be evenly distributed," he exclaimed.

Zulkarnaen Nasution, Division Head of Industry and Energy And Mineral Resources (ESDM) added there are four areas of IKM training. Each field offered is culinary, fashion, handicraft, and electronic service.

"It will run four days and every training will have 60 participants," he explained.

It will be placed in various places, like sub-district office, urban village office, and RPTRA.

"We also want to cooperate with OK OCE companion as a resource person," he stated.
