West Jakarta Indonesian Red Cross Society (PMI) organizes blood donation during Ramadan to fulfill blood stock in several hospitals.

In a day, we distribute 100 blood bags to fulfill hospital needs of blood in West Jakarta

West Jakarta PMI Head, Baharudin said, on the regular days, his side usually serves 70-80 people who want to donate their blood every day. While hospital needs of blood reaches 100 blood bags.

"In a day, we distribute 100 blood bags to fulfill hospital needs of blood in West Jakarta," he informed, Monday (5/21).

Currently his side intensifies blood donation socialization and issues circulation letters to all institutions of government, private, education, and religion in West Jakarta to anticipate the reduced number of blood donors during Ramadan.

"We have distributed circulation letters to all ins titutions and install banners to encourage people to donor their blood," he conveyed.
