Officials and PNS Prohibited to Accept Parcel

Ahead of Eid ul Fitr 1435 Hijri, all officials and civil servants in the environment of Jakarta Provincial Government are reminded not to accept parcel. This policy is urged by Acting Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama, following the circulation letter from Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

“No need to comment on that, KPK has circulated the letter since a long time ago. KPK sent it again to us to remind all officials not to accept parcel whatsoever. Just follow it,” stated Basuki at City Hall, Friday (7/18).

Indeed, KPK since last year has issued this appeal which states that all state officials and civil servants are prohibited to accept parcel or any gift from any party, or ask for parcel, gift, or facility from private parties, including holiday bonus (THR) from partner companies.

In addition, KPK also prohibited the use of state assets for private purposes, such as using official car for homecoming. If there was gratification in an institution, the institution is asked to report it no later than 30 days.
