Kemayoran Explorer Buses will Be Operated as Transportation to Jakarta Fair

We suggest people to use public transportation

Jakarta Provincial Government through PT. Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will operate Kemayoran Explorer Bus. It is used to facilitate people who want to visit Jakarta Fair 2018 at Jakarta International (JI) Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno hopes this facility can encourage more visitors to use public transportation. Thus traffic jam in Kemayoran area could be reduced.

Jakarta Fair Transaction Hoped to Hit Rp 7 T

"We suggest people to use public transportation," he expressed in press conference at JI Expo, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/21).

He explained, Kemayoran Explorer Bus will connect each public transportation points to Jakarta Fair entrance.

"Currently, PT. Transjakarta has made bus shelter for Kemayoran Explorer Bus operational," he stated.

Meanwhile, PT. Transjakarta Public Relation Head, Wibowo said, Kemayoran Explorer Bus will serve Monas-JI Expo route, Pulo Gadung-JI Expo route, PGC-JI Expo route, and Kampung Melayu-JI Expo route and reverse route.

"Our buses start to operate when Jakarta Fair is opened for public. Visitor needs to pay normal price of Rp 3,500 for one trip," he informed.

Meanwhile, PT. JI Expo Kemayoran General Manager, Oki Setiawan added, recently Transjakarta bus only facilitates direct route from Entrance 2 shelter to Jakarta Fair arena. Thus himself is welcoming those additional routes that will transport visitors directly to the arena.

"We also prepare shuttle buses to pick up visitors in parking area located near Kemayoran Toll entrance," he conveyed.
