Lebaran Public Transport Drivers Must Undergo Medical Check-up

Jakarta Transportation Dept. obligates all public transport vehicle drivers for Lebaran (Eid) 2018 to undergo medical check-up. It will be realized by involving medical personnel under the Health Dept.

"All drivers must be checked. We will cooperate with Health Dept. to smooth it," expressed Andri Yansyah, Head of Jakarta Transportation Dept., Thursday (5/31).

It can be participated by the drivers in each terminal. Thus far there are at least nine terminals for Lebaran 2018 that have been prepared.

Those terminals are Pulo Gebang, Kalideres, Kampung Rambutan, and Tanjung Priok. Then there are also five supporting terminals such as Pinang Ranti, Lebak Bulus, Grogol, Muara Angke, and Rawamangun.

"We also have the health post that will open at 8 AM-8 PM," he explained.

He explained, the health post will be made simultaneously with integrated Lebaran public transport post that will be inaugurated June 7, 2018. Its existence is to oversee the movement of public transport, including security, health and safety.

"In these posts, we also cooperate with Jakarta BNNP to do urine test for the drivers," he said.
