C. Jakarta Sudinhub Completed Zebra Crossings in 30 Locations

Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub) made zebra crossings in 30 locations since early June. Until the end of this year, 20 zebra crossings will be made in new locations and 630 existing zebra crossings will be repaired.

"We start it from early June. We do this work at night thus it will not disturb the traffic," informed Bernard Tobing, Head of Central Jakarta Sudinhub's Traffic Section Head, Monday (6/25).

He stated, his side has made zebra crossings on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto, Jalan Gereja Theresia, Jalan Menteng Raya, Jalan Diponegoro, and several zebra crossings in Senen area.

"This zebra crossing work is done based on requests from residents, school, and Sub-dept.'s mapping result according to resident needs," he stated.
