South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi, revealed the urban village and sub-district heads to optimize patrols around the Mampang-Kuningan Underpass location. It is because the drainage's manhole cover at the location was missing or stolen again.

He stated it is a must, especially at night until early morning. Hence, the theft case was allegedly done at 3-5 AM.

He hoped the thieves could be arrested thus similar case does not reoccur. It also supports Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. that plans to install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV).

"Hopefully we quickly catch the perpetrator," he stressed.

Kuningan Barat Urban Village Headm Erwin Lobo admitted he is ready to conduct patrols around the underpass. All this time, the PPSU officers are also often monitoring the public facilities in the field.

"We also had officers working at night, at 11 PM-6 AM. We'll also activate the role of the urban village FKDM soon," he said.
