Collapsed Dam at Sekretaris River Repaired

20 officers of West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. have been sent to clean up the dam's wall that is collapsed at the Sekretaris River, Jalan Sasak 1, Kelapa Dua Urban Village, Kebon Jeruk.

To respond the report, we sent 20 blue team personnel to clean up the dam's wall that collapsed up to 200 meters long

West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Imron said his sub-dept. gets public report about collapsed dam after being eroded by the river water.

"To respond the report, we sent 20 blue team personnel to clean up the dam's wall that collapsed up to 200 meters long," he expressed, Sunday (7/1).

He also sent a team to the location for the dam repair planning.

"Its repair planning is targeted to be finished tomorrow, including repair fund. We're also coordinating with the winner of the goods provider tender for preparing the required materials," he expressed.

He continued, a proposal was also made to Jakarta Water Resources Dept. to re-continue the naturalization project of Sekretaris River and Pesanggrahan River in West Jakarta.

"If it is completed, it will solve flood problem in the residential passed by such rivers," he said.
