Drainage Grating Replaced on Mampang Underpass

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. ensures stolen drainage grating on Mampang-Kuningan Underpass, South Jakarta have been replaced.

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept.'s Bridge and Road Division Head, Heru Suwondo admitted, his side has replaced drainage grating since several days ago. It is done at night thus it will not disturb traffic flow.

"We have done replacing the drainage grating. It is done at night," he informed, Wednesday (7/4).

He mentioned, drainage grating have been stolen twice. Total, nine gratings are stolen.

"We install it in nine locations according to the number of stolen gratings. Installation is done by contractor," he added.

Drainage grating is now welded completely to prevent it from being stolen again. Moreover, his side will also install Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) soon to monitor the area.

"We are completely welded it thus it will not be stolen again and not easily taken," he affirmed.
