Baru Urban Village Joined to Enliven Asian Games

We have arranged this office and road access that leads to office

Ahead of Asian Games, Baru Urban Village office, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta is decorated with Asian Games icon and ornaments. It is done to enliven the biggest sport event in Asia.

Baru Urban Village Head, Ali Mansyur Siregar stated, his office area is now beautifully arranged. Beautiful flags, banners, and billboard are neatly installed not only in office yard, but also in access to office which is around two kilometers along Jalan H. Hasan.

"We have arranged this office and road access that leads to office. This area has been fulfilled with Asian games decoration to welcome this event. Our residents are also very enthusiastic to support it," he conveyed, Monday (7/9).

Especially in office yard, his side creates Asian Games icon with eight meters diameter. This eight-color icon is made by seven PPSU personnel who complete it in a day. While officers collect money independently to buy paints.

"Particularly, we draw mascots based on sports contested in Asian Games. We use styrofoam material and stick it to walls or hang it," he added.

Starting this week, resident settlements will be also decorated. Circular letter has been distributed by his side to encourage residents to join in arranging and decorating urban village in order to welcome Asian Games 2018.
