The initial process of shortcut construction in RW 09, Rawasari Urban Village, Cempaka Putih, Central Jakarta began. Before the physical construction, the officers have dismantled six buildings that have been released since December 2017.

Rawasari Urban Village Head, Rahmat Hidayat said, Jakarta Bina Marga Dept will execute the construction. The shortcut would connect Jalan Pramuka Sari 1 with Jalan Pramuka Raya.

"Land acquisition was done last December, and today is just execution for shortcut project," he expressed.

To smoothen it, 40 joint officers of Satpol PP, Rawasari Urban Village PPSU and Bina Marga Dept. have been sent to the location. There are also two units of heavy equipment.

"With this shortcut, it will reduce traffic jam along Jalan Percetakan Negara and facilitate citizens access to the highway," he uttered.
