Jl. Flamboyan PHB Channel's Retaining Wall Repaired

North Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. repairs Flamboyan PHB channel's retaining wall on Jl. Flamboyan, RW 08, Kelapa Gading Timur Urban Village, Kelapa Gading. It has been started since early July and targeted to finish in early August.

Our target is to finish it in early August, thus channel can return to its normal function

Kelapa Gading Sub-district SDA Unit Head, Rukmana mentioned, his side repairs PHB channel's retaining wall that has 155 meters long and 2.5 meters tall. It is collapsed and damaged in several parts that is needed a repair.

"We start to repair it since July. We deploy 18 personnel every day," he mentioned, Wednesday (7/18).

It is repaired using river stone material and strengthened using horizontal concrete sloof as foundation and vertical sloof in every three meters. Besides, his side also install dolken woods to strengthen the foundation construction.

According to him, his side creates crossings in three channel points. It locates on Jl. Flamboyan, Jl. Nusa Indah and Jl. Dewi Sinta. Each crossing has varying length between 6-8 meters.

"Our target is to finish it in early August, thus channel can return to its normal function," he said.
