Basuki Suggests Non-Cash Transaction for PMI Fund Raising

Vice Jakarta Governor Basuki T Purnama suggested Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to no longer use coupon mechanism for its fund raising, but use non-cash transaction through bank account instead. It is deemed effective to anticipate fake coupons.

As for PMI Monthly Fund, it will be held for six months from July 17 until January 17. Bambang Sugiyono, who is Assistant to City Secretary for Jakarta Community Health Division, is chosen as chairman of the 2014 PMI Monthly Fund Committee.
