Asian Games Mural Painted on Pondok Bambu Flyover

Tens PPSU personnel painted Pondok Bambu Flyover, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

We want people to be enthusiastic in welcoming Asian Games

Pondok Bambu Urban Village Head, Angga Sastra Amidjaya said, Pondok Bambu Flyover is painted to welcome and enliven Asian Games. From Wednesday (7/18) night, 20 PPSU personnel started to paint it white as base. Then on Thursday, they painted it colorfully and draw some Asian Games murals.

"We paint Pondok Bambu Flyover colorfully and create some murals to welcome and enliven Asian Games. We want people to be enthusiastic in welcoming Asian Games," he conveyed, Thursday (7/19).

According to him, colorful paints are bought independently from local residents, employees, and donation from Pondok Bambu Penitentiary and DKI Bank. It spent 20 kilograms white paint for its base and 15 kilograms paint from different colors. It was not included paint used to paint East Flood Canal (KBT) where each bridges spent 75 kilograms paint.

"After painting it, we put 45 flags of countries participating in Asian Games thus residents can feel the Asian Games nuance," he informed.
