Sandi Motivates Asian Games Volunteers

Jakarta Vice Governor, Sandiaga Uno motivated 1,100 Asian Games volunteers while he became the speaker at Job Specific and Training Volunteer Venue Environment Department Asian Games XVIII event.

We must have a good teamwork

In that chance, he reminded volunteers to instill three values: unity, study, and pray.

"There are 1,100 volunteers who are united in here. We must have a good teamwork," he stated at Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Basketball Hall, Gelora Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (7/25).

Every efforts made for Asian Games succession, he continued, needs to be prayed thus this event succession will make Indonesia to be considered equivalent to other big countries.

"We have done our best for the preparation. Now we need to waiting for God bless. Asian Games succession must be achieved because it carries the name of Indonesia and Jakarta. This responsibility is on our shoulders," he conveyed.

Not only welcoming the countries guests, volunteers should be an example for other people in maintaining and taking care of the environment thus it becomes a new habit in Jakarta.

"Volunteers will be also trained for their preparation in venue and environment. We don't want Asian Games to leave a burden on Jakarta environment," he said.
