Srengseng Sawah Suspension Bridge Construction Reaches 90 Percent

Srengseng Sawah Suspension Bridge construction in Jagakarsa, South Jakarta currently reaches 90 percent. This bridge is targeted to be used by residents on August 15, 2018.

Now its construction reaches 90 percent. We plan to inaugurate it on August 15

Srengseng Sawah Urban Village Head, Tubagus Masruri mentioned, main building is already finished. It is only to do its finishing.

"Now its construction reaches 90 percent. We plan to inaugurate it on August 15," he informed, Tuesday (7/31).

Suspension Bridge Construction in Srengseng Sawah Started

Recently, the workers are installing its floor and railing. Meranti wood will be used for bridge's floor to beautify its appearance.

"This crossing bridge can only be used by pedestrian. We will forbid two-wheeled vehicles to use it," he affirmed.

After this bridge construction is finished and inaugurated, he plans to demolish the former suspension bridge. But his side needs to coordinate its demolition by coordinating with local residents first.

"We need to talk to local residents first because they built the former bridge independently," he conveyed.
