Suspension Bridge Construction in Srengseng Sawah Started

Today, South Jakarta Mayor, Tri Kurniadi together with Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faizal conduct groundbreaking of suspension bridge construction in Srengseng Sawah, Jagakarsa.

We will build bridge from today and we plan to complete it in four months

According to plan, this suspension bridge will be built in four months. During the construction, the existing bridge can still be used.

"We'll build bridge from today and we plan to complete it in four months," Tri stated on the location, Friday (5/4).

Suspension Bridge in Srengseng Sawah will Be Repaired Soon

He explained, it will be only used for pedestrian, except the motorbike. Hopefully the construction could be completed on time.

"I hope it can be used for people only," he affirmed.

PT. Wiratman's Wiratman Karkasa Bridge Managing Director, Yulianto added, it is targeted to complete on August 14, 2018. Allocated budget for this project is Rp 1 billion.

"Hopefully it can be completed according to schedule, on August 14. The bridge will be named Wiratman Karkasa Bridge," he mentioned.

He conveyed, bridge construction plan uses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund from PT. Wiratman. While its physical construction will use fund from 14 sponsors. Some of them are from BUMN that runs in construction sector.

"There are 14 sponsor companies in total. Now, we will focus to build the main construction," he stated.

For information, this suspension bridge is built along 51 meters long with two meters wide. This new bridge is built about two meters from existing bridge at RT 12/02, Srengseng Sawah.
