Anies Inspects Bundaran HI JPO Dismantling Progress

Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan inspected Pedestrian Crossing Bridge (JPO) dismantling progress in Bundaran HI location, Jl. MH. Thamrin, Central Jakarta.

JPO dismantling has been started from last night, so this afternoon we want to see its progress

"JPO dismantling has been started from last night, so this afternoon we want to see its progress," he said, Tuesday (7/31).

Bundaran HI JPO Demolition Accelerated

Overall, he assessed JPO is dismantled well by PT. MRT Jakarta with assistance from Jakarta Transportation Dept. (Dishub) and police sides.

"Actually it is not fully completed, but we will accelerate it and finish the remaining work tonight thus tomorrow's morning this area is already cleaned," he stated.

Beside checking Bundaran HI JPO, Anies also tried to use Pelican Crossing to cross Jalan MH Thamrin.

"It will facilitate pedestrian to cross the road. We will evaluate its effectiveness later," he added.

Meanwhile, Carla as an employee who works near Bundaran HI mentioned that personnel who are standby near Pelican Crossing are very helpful.

"When I want to go home from work, I feel safe because personnel are responsive in helping me to cross the road," she expressed.
