FKDM Asked to Succeed 2018 Asian Games

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, wants the Early Awareness Society Forum (FKDM) to take part in the successful implementation of the Asian Games.

Sandi said they could help make early detection of potential disturbances in security and public order (Kamtibmas).

"Early awareness in Jakarta must continue to be maintained and be of special concern to smoothen the Asian Games," he expressed, when he released participants of FKDM Working Meeting, at City Hall, Tuesday (8/7).

He advised all forms of security incidents and potential that could disturb public order in Jakarta must be immediately followed up and coordinated with the local security apparatus.

"They will hold a working meeting to support the event. We will improve FKDM's performance as part and partner of Jakarta Provincial Government by delivering update information to increase early awareness at the community level," he explained.

Jakarta FKDM Chairman, Rico Sinaga uttered 3,870 FKDM members will be prepared to succeed the event.

"Our member is spread in all urban villages. Thus early detection and early prevention can be done quickly thus the police can immediately handle it," he stated.

As for the information, Jakarta FKDM working meeting will run in Cisarua, Bogor, West Java that falls on August 7-10, 2018. It will present a keynote speaker, namely Local Intelligence Agency (Kabinda), Brig. Gen. Neno Hamriono.
