East Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar encourages all residents in his region to succeed the Asian Games 2018. There will be six venues prepared that spread in East Jakarta.

They must succeed the event, as it is risking the name of nation and state. There will be six venues prepared, such as four venues in Pulomas and Rawamangun. Two other venues are in Ciracas GOR and TMII Martial Art Hermitage.

Meanwhile, Pasar Rebo Sub-district Head, Panangaran Ritonga stated, thus far, residents are ready to welcome the event by installing umbul-umbul (decorative flags), banners, and painting the wall.
"They are committed to succeed and enliven the event. Even, during torch parade, we held cultural arts performances," he said.
To welcome torch parade, Cijantung Urban Village will hold Bedug Festival, followed by tanjidor from Kalisari Urban Village, as well as mawaris and hadroh from Pekayon Urban Village.
