DKI Deploys 813 Personnel to Monitor Sacrificed Animal's Health

Jakarta Maritime Agriculture and Food Tenacity (KPKP) Dept. will deploy 813 personnel to socialize and monitor sacrificed animals slaughtering in Eid al-Adha.

"Total 813 personnel will socialize and monitor sacrificed animals slaughtering," mentioned Sri Hartati, Head of Jakarta KPKP Dept.'s Animal Husbandry and Animal Health Division, Tuesday (8/7).

She mentioned, 300 of 813 personnel are from Bogor Agricultural University (IPB)'s Veterinary Faculty, 20 personnel are from Agriculture Ministry, 50 personnel from Indonesian Veterinary Association (PDHI), 295 personnel from KPKP Sub-dept. in five regions, and 148 personnel from KPKP Dept.

According to her, those 813 personnel will be deployed to give socialization and also to monitor sacrificed animals from D-10 to D+3 of Eid al-Adha.

"All personnel will be placed in all regions and our target is to ensure animal's health and to check whether its meat is edible or not," she explained.
