Channel on Jalan Melodi Mas 3 Normalized

A water channel on Jalan Melodi Mas 3, RW 20, Pegangsaan Dua Urban Village, Kelapa Gading is normalized.

This work has been done since August 3 and is targeted to be finished in mid-September

Kelapa Gading Water Resources Executing Unit Head, Rukmana explained that the channel is covered by soil up to 225 meters. As a result, the water channel is malfunctioning and often causes puddles in the surrounding area.

"The channel width was originally 60 centimeters with 60 centimeters depth, so we do normalization," he expressed, Monday (8/20).

He assessed that normalization itself will include sheet pile development using river rock materials. It is conducted, as the sheet pile condition has been severely damaged due to buried material.

"This work has been done since August 3 and is targeted to be finished in mid-Sep tember," he stated.
